One of the questions on the Common App is “Talk about a fictional character who has influenced you in some way and describe that influence”

and I’m seriously considering just re-working that scholarship essay about Sherlock Holmes that I did

I don’t know if that’s a good idea or not

I mean, that essay got me to the semifinalist round of the scholarship elimination

but still

college stuff is hard man
