Sherlock 2013 Calendar back cover revealed
The back cover of the Sherlock 2013 calendar has just been revealed on Twitter. It features the main images of all twelve monthly interior spreads.
You can preorder the calendar, due for release in the UK on October 1 2012, here on Amazon UK. Regional Amazon sites, including Amazon US, France and Germany will also be carrying the calendar.

Since this is making the rounds again, I figured I’d update this with my name.
Explanation: If you’ve ever seen Martin Freeman type, it’s adorable. He types with two fingers. In A Scandal In Belgravia, John is shown typing on his computer, barely tapping the keys a dozen times, yet an entire paragraph appears onscreen. I joked that he must be using a special John Watson keyboard.

This idea popped into my head this morning after thinking about the Headhunters episode, considering it had wax Sherlock Holmes :D. I don’t ship Mabel and Dipper at all, I just thought this crossover would be cute :). Enjoy!

Real advice needed :D
As an IB student, I have to this summer write a 4000 word essay on the topic of my choice. It can be literally anything as long as it fits into a subject area specified (which isn’t that hard to accomplish).
I need a topic. I’m planning on writing either in Literature (literary analysis, criticism, etc.) or Literature and Performance (exploration of a work that’s been adapted into another media) because I’m really good at literary analysis, and my english teacher will be an excellent adviser.
I’m seriously, 100% considering writing my essay on the Sherlock Holmes canon, and before you say anything, no, I’m not doing this just because of Sherlock- I’ve loved those stories since I read them when I was eight (and cried after the Final Problem) and that love has stuck with me for the majority of my adolescent life. It’s a topic I’m both interested and well-versed in, and I think it’s perfect for an essay.
However, I need some sort of specific research question. I could talk about a specific literary element used in the original stories for Literature, or I could talk about various adaptations and the influence they have on the characters for Literature and Performance, but those are just too broad.
Anyone have any ideas on topics or inspiration for questions? Even a short phrase would help.

Lucy Liu is just so pretty.
Still keeping an open mind.
I just love that 2nd last photo where they are both giggling. I know there’s a lot of wildly different opinions about CBS Elementary across the fandom right now, but for me, when I see that, it just speaks to me as the sort of pure moment of interaction between Holmes and Watson of any incarnation.
Even if the episode turns out as a failed project…well I’m happy to have these lovely photos of two very brilliant people together. (why not?) :)
I’m just….so excited for this show. Seriously. Don’t care if it’s ‘copying,’ I will take any new Holmes incarnation I can get.
